A simple website application where travelers can easily find and buy from local artisans or book cultural tours directly.The platform connects artisans and tourists directly without going through middlemen, helping artisans keep all the profits from their work. Also the platform brings together and showcases the handmade crafts of various cultural communities in one place, whereby Artisans can use basic mobile phones to upload pictures and prices of their products without needing complex technical knowledge.

Asili Yetu Hub is an innovative software web application because it uniquely tackles the challenge faced by local artisans, traditional groups, and rural cultural tourism sites who often struggle to find buyers and lose most of their profits to middlemen. By providing an online marketplace, the platform enables creators to reach customers outside their local area and keep all of their earnings through simple, accessible tools designed for individuals without advanced technical skills. Also through built-in image compression handlers it will minimize picture loading for long time, ensuring smooth functionality in low-bandwidth environments powered by Tailwind CSS, Alpine.js, a Laravel backend, and a relational MySQL database.
Expected Impact
The platform will count how many rural artisans join and list their items on the platform, it will also add more profit to the artisans and check the amount of money going straight to the artisan without relying on the middlemen.
