Problem Statement
Government e-service platforms already provide many services, but citizens and civil servants often struggle with complex navigation, unclear procedures, and low digital literacy. As a result, users may abandon applications or return to physical offices for help. The services exist; usability is the bottleneck.
Proposed Solution
An AI Government Agent layered on existing e-government platforms. Users state what they want in natural language or voice, and the AI understands their intent, plans the required steps, navigates the platform, fills required fields, and completes authorized tasks, with user confirmation before submission and a full audit trail. The system uses agentic AI techniques including LLM-based intent understanding, task planning, tool/function calling, RAG, and computer-use/browser automation.
Innovation
Unlike traditional chatbots that only provide instructions, our agentic AI understands a user's goal, plans the workflow, and autonomously executes authorized tasks within existing government systems. It combines AI autonomy with permissions, user confirmation, and full auditability.
Expected Impact
1. Faster and easier access to government services. 2. Fewer errors and abandoned applications. 3. Reduced pressure on physical government service counters. 4. Increased digital-service adoption, especially among users with low digital literacy. 5. Faster reporting and better access to information for government decision-makers.
