Software solutions that bring banking, savings, loans, and insurance within reach of the unbanked population through mobile money integrations and digital wallets.

An ML/AI solution that helps health facilities and patients get better, faster, and fairer care. The goal is to solve the full range of problems that make health service delivery inefficient in Tanzania - not just one narrow symptom of it.

Smart Government & E-Services

Digital platforms that improve how government delivers services to citizens - from online permits and tax filing to grievance management and civic reporting.

Tourism & Culture

Digital tools that promote Tanzania's tourism sector, help tourists discover destinations, and support local cultural industries and artisans.

What to Submit
Choose one focus area and submit a concept brief (1–2 pages) covering: • The Problem - What specific challenge are you solving and who faces it? • Who It Affects - Who is the end-user or decision-maker who benefits? • Your Solution - What does your web/mobile app do and how does it work? • Technology Stack - What frameworks, APIs, or platforms will you use? • What Success Looks Like - How will you measure whether it works? Note: Your app must work on low-end Android devices or low-bandwidth connections where relevant to the target population.
